Ideally use an SPL meter and the free REW software to see how the sub interacts with the room. Select best positioning, phase, crosssover and gain for sub using REW or your ears if you do not want to get into REW. The MCACC only works down to 63hz anyway so its not that great for subs. You can see the effect of MCACC when looking at the EQ filters.
