Traktor Pro 3 Pioneer Ddj Sx
This Setting File is required when using Native Instruments' TRAKTOR PRO 2 Ver 2.6.8 with the DDJ-SX. Before use: depending on your computer's specifications, the reaction of the Preferences window may get slow after importing the Settings File. However, such behavior will not cause any problems with the application itself. After the import you will get 2 separate maps, and you must select the DDJ-SX In & Out Ports In your settings for both of these maps. Overview concerning the latest update (v9.3): - Bugs & Issues: (v9.3) Repaired the SHIFT + ROLL bug / (v9.2) Repaired the THRU Modus for the mixer.
Hello.
I bought a DDJ-RX controller and before buying I'd thought that it was compatible with the Traktor Pro 2 but I was wrong. I searched the Pioneer forums and a staff told me that Pioneer would not release an official mapping for DDJ-RX. After that I tried mapping for my new controller but beside the basic mappings (start, cue, syns etc.) I couldn't map the FX s, performance pads etc.
Could anyone who knows about mapping help me doing it or help me to find a full DDJ-RX mapping for Traktor Pro 2?
Thank you.

So I’m looking to upgrade from my basic beginner controller (pioneer ddj sb) to something that I can use better with more features. I was looking at the Traktor S4 mk2 and the Pioneer DDJ SX. What are your guys opinions on which is better, the ups and downs of each controller. I will be using it for house parties etc. I know that it is good to choose your software first, but in this case I’m not fussed with using Traktor Pro or Serato. Let me know what you think of each controller and which you would pick out of the two of them.
Cheers, Cody 🙂
It is as simple as that:
If you want Traktor buy the S4
If you want Serato buy the SX
Both are especially good for the software they were made for. Both are especially bad for any other software (except the SX is also good with Cross).
I would pick the SX, but only because I love Serato.I agree with what terry says it about the software decison.
I have not used a traktor s4 but own an sx so biased in that sense.
Suffice to say i dont find I’m wanting anything more with the sx. Its works great, its solid and it feels about the right size and feels right if that makes any sense. I dont think you would be dissapointed with an sx, there’s a reason they sold a lot of them. That said there is a signifcant price difference between the 2 so that needs to be a consideration too.Auto tuning running music youtube. Create your own music video selfie! Not much, RGB performance pads, Serato Flip support and DVS support. Nothing you can’t live without unless you need those exact specs, but the S4 doesn’t have all of those features either. I think your option of finding a good used SX is solid imho.
If you were buying new, I’d say go for the jugular and buy the SX2, but in this case, the SX will do you just fine. Heck, it’s what I use currently and I feel no urgent need to upgrade. I don’t use Serato, so Flip is not an issue. I don’t do christmas so don’t need RGB lights in my pads and I don’t do vinyl anymore. Presto, my GOLD (Yikes!) SX will be with me till I get something else 😀
